  2. Ellison Bay/Gills Rock: Library display marks Norway Independence Day

    The vast Norwegian population of Door County is anxiously awaiting Syttende Mai, or Independence Day, on May 17. The constitution of 1814 giving Norway its freedom from Sweden and Denmark was signed at Eidsvold, Norway, on that day. Happy Independence Day to all of you Norwegians.

  3. Ellison Bay: Book club plans to keep afternoon meeting schedule

    Readers Rampant Book Club of the Sister Bay/Liberty Grove library has been meeting at 2:30 p.m. through the winter. It has been decided to continue to have afternoon meetings at 2:30 p.m. and not change to evenings in the summer.
