Ephraim's own Kevin Free has replaced Kelli Torpey as program and marketing director at the Ephraim Historical Foundation.
The Romantic Recital with violinist Beth Chafey-Hon and pianist David Beck will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Ephraim Moravian Church. It will feature music from Vivaldi, Faure, Chopin and Beethoven to Arabian folk music and the Bumble Boogie.
Get in on Scandia Village's "Tisket a Tasket, Bid on a Basket!" Valentine fundraiser. The event will run from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday (bids close at 2 p.m. Friday).
A new business has started in town — Julie's Upscale Resale, formerly next to Northern Door Communications in Sister Bay, is expanding and reopening at the corner of Wisconsin 42 and Townline.
The village of Ephraim and Peninsula State Park partnered to gain Bird City recognition. Rachel Willems of the Business Council, Steve Sauter on the Village Board and Kathleen Harris in the Park worked hard to get this status.
